Finally, it has arrived! A true 2 ½ Inch chambered (65 MM) shotshell designed for early American, British, European and other vintage guns, as well as those seeking a softer shooting 12 gauge load. This low pressure, 1170 feet per second shell is still plenty powerful to bring down feathered and furred game at medium to long distances, as it is loaded with a full 1 ounce of Armusa's top of the line, ultra-hard 6% antimony magnum shot. This is also a great choice for competition and clay target shooting, as the premium shot is the same as utilized in Armusa's Competition Series.

Making Premium Shotshells, It's What We Do

ARMUSA’S founder and 2-time Olympian Miguel Marina Aróstegui was among Spain’s most awarded clay target competitors, including winning countless international and world titles on the live bird circuit and competing in the ’68 and ’72 Summer Olympics.

His passion for producing quality ammunition for the serious competitor carries on, with his son, José Marina, who’s determined to continue the legacy. It's no wonder that the ARMUSA brand is highly esteemed in the world of competitive shotgun sports. That's a fact.

Today, we continue to offer the very best in quality and performance without compromise, BECAUSE IT’S WHAT WE DO.

Family-owned since 1960, ARMUSA has been supplying elite shooters and hunters with premium shotshells for more than 60 years. ARMUSA is one of the last independently owned manufacturers remaining in Europe.

    Vintage 28 USA, 2 1/2" shells, 1oz. #7.5 shot

Posted by John Chudzik on 26th Dec 2024

I ordered these shells to test them. I shot them side by side against RST 1oz. Falcon-lite shells. I loaded both shells into one pocket and did not look at them when I loaded my shotgun, I was unable to detect any difference in sound, recoil or performance in breaking the clay. If you are a classic side by side owner that needs a 2 1/2" shell, this is a good option, and is currently priced less than other 2 1/2" shells that are being imported. I did also take them hunting for pheasants, they performed as well as any one ounce load might do for pen-raised birds at modest ranges. I would suggest the #5 or #6 load for wild birds or birds at longer ranges.

    Classico shot really well!

Posted by Griff on 9th Oct 2024

I shot sporting clays today with a 6.3# 12ga sxs and the 2.5” Classico shells crushed. The lack of recoil really helped make hitting the second bird in the pair a breeze!

Purchased my first case and am pleased with the effectiveness and mild recoil. I will be buying more when larger shot sizes are available.
