Condition Report

Features crisp triggers with a very nice, solid, tight lockup. Has a wonderful, lively balance to it. Would make a fantastic upland bird gun, as this is chambered for modern 2 3/4" shells.
Bores are bright and mirror smooth, no pitting, and no visual imperfections.
Bluing on barrels is scarce, but no rust, pitting or deterioration present anywhere
Traditional English straight hand grip with splinter style forend and Anson style forend release.
Wood is fairly plain and looks dull, but no cracks, repairs or visible flaws. This would be a good woodfinishing project to bring it back to life.
Overall a fine example of a London made boxlock, with a solid and undeniable hand built quality. This fine example from Webley & Scott has many more years of life ahead.
